As a strategy of the the Employer Task Force, area employers such as Johnson Controls, Macatawa Bank and Plascore have adopted local preschool centers.  Most recently, Johnson Controls Meadowbrook Plant was busy landscaping and constructing a sandbox for children at Maplewood Early Childhood Center.  Macatawa Bank worked with the parents and children at Fun Preschool for a cookout and fundraiser.  Plascore provided books, Easter baskets and fun dress up clothes for children at St. Francis Preschool.  We have more preschools that need to be adopted if your employer is interested in making a difference.
