Mihyun Han is a faculty in the Education Department at Hope College. Mihyun obtained her Ph.D in education at the University of Connecticut. She studied literacy education, ESL/bilingual education, creative teaching and learning. Mihyun is originally from South Korea, and there she used to work as an elementary school teacher.
In the US, she started her career as an ESL educator teaching secondary emergent bilingual students. As a teacher educator, Mihyun has taught pre-service and in-service teachers at several institutions, including the University of Connecticut and Grand Valley State University. At Hope College, Mihyun teaches literacy education and ESL education.
Mihyun lives in Jenison with her husband Beornkyu, two children – Yewon (8th grade girl) and Yeseong (6th grade boy), and a poodle boy named Coco. Mihyun’s family has enjoyed living in Michigan very much; they love biking, fishing, and camping in Michigan’s Great Lakes.
Patrick Johnson is the Senior Director of Human Resources for Bethany Christian Services in Grand Rapids. In addition, he serves on various community boards, including the Lakeshore Nonprofit Alliance, The First Tee of West Michigan Holland, and The Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation.
Patrick has been involved with Ready for School for nearly 10 years, serving as CFO/COO and voluntary Treasurer. He is a proud graduate of GVSU where he studied Business and Cultural Development.
He has a passion for working with others to solve problems collaboratively that bring about diverse experiences and perspectives. In his spare time, Patrick can be found golfing and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Pranay Rajgarhia is the founder of SolidCircle, a business process improvement company based in West Michigan. Pranay possesses over 25 years of experience within government, information technology, manufacturing, and international businesses. His expertise lies in Custom Off-the-Shelf software development (COTS), Business Process Management, Software Implementation Strategy and Leadership.
Pranay founded SolidCircle in 2004 to find simple solutions to complex business problems and to provide the highest quality of customer service. He focuses on maximizing client business productivity with process improvement, seamless information flow and sustainability. Prior to founding SolidCircle, he co-owned a manufacturing unit for industrial gases and a mining company in India.
Pranay holds a Master’s in Computer Science. He enjoys reading, photography and travel. He and his wife have two daughters, and live in Zeeland, Michigan.
