READINESS

When a child is, curious and asks questions, able wait her/his turn and become comfortable with routine this helps so much with being ready for school. At home having daily routines of sitting and eating meals together, having bedtime routines and same daily bedtime and same time getting up in the morning support children’s readiness.

Parents in the community tell us that giving their children a preschool experience places a serious strain on the family budget. We can help make preschool possible for these families.

QUESTIONNAIRE

The AAP recommends standardized developmental screening at 9, 18, and 30 months for all children. Ready for School is committed to supporting healthcare providers to implement these recommendations which will result in early identification of children 0-5 years of age with developmental needs.
